　　Describe an occasion when many people were smiling

　　You should say:

　　And explain why many people were smiling

　　雅思口语中关于「微笑」的语料积累：

　　1.When it happened  

　　事件类必问题“什么时候”，可以精确到具体的年/月/日，另外还可以增加当时的季节、天气、环境描述。

　　Example ：

　　What I want to tell you about this experience happened on the plane from Beijing to Shanghai last month, when my friend who was traveling with me helped an old man using his professional knowledge. The situation was really very dangerous, but fortunately the result was good.

　　2.Who you were with  

　　第二小问中的“who with”经常在事件类话题中出现，通常回答模式可以从与朋友/家人/同学等关系的人一起去，为什么和她/他一起去，你们的关系怎么样这三个方面来拓展回答。

　　Example one：

　　The senior students wear their baccalaureate uniforms and attend the graduation ceremony. The president awarded us graduation certificates and diplomas. Near the end of the graduation ceremony, the pictures of each graduate appeared on the screen.

　　Example two：

　　My friend and I bought two tickets to see the show, and I have to admit that we both thought it was worth it.

　　3.What happened

　　第三小问需要根据你所描述的场合来进一步作细节描述，比如看脱口秀，需要围绕着演员的穿着，表演的形式，表演的氛围等方面进行描述。

　　Example one：

　　The talk-show performers were divided into two teams. Three members of each team competed against each other. The team with the highest score was the winner of the talk show. However, when the last player from the losing team came on the stage, he made the audience laugh with a very short story, and the team came back to win.

　　Example two：

　　About half an hour after the plane took off, an old man of about 60 years old suddenly had difficulty breathing and his face looked very pale. My friend was very calm, and volunteered to help the old man using his medical knowledge.

　　4.And explain why many people were smiling

　　最后一个小问也是本道题的最关键点所在，需要解释人们为什么笑的原因，根据不同的场合有不同的体验感可以引发人们欢笑，比如脱口秀事因为节目表演内容逗观众笑，比如某个人因为身上的个人魅力或品质得到人们的喜欢，比如毕业晚会上同学对彼此的祝福烘托了欢乐的气氛。

　　Example one：

　　I think the reason why the audience laughed is that the talk show actor was so easy-going and the stories he told are so close to people's lives. Furthermore, he had personal charm, so people couldn’t help laughing. I think if I have a chance to see his performance next time, I will definitely buy a ticket.

　　Example two：

　　So many of us will be separated and take different paths after graduation, so we wanted to send our blessings to each other and we tried not to cry. We all smiled. I remember everyone was sharing embarrassing things with each other to liven things up, and it was such a good time.
