　　一个完整的英语句子中最基本的成分是主语和谓语，而谓语只能是动词充当。因此，总结与动词相关的错误就很必要。

　　1, 2个动词的错误

　　由于受到中式思维的影响，很多学生在写作中经常一句话中出现多个动词。由于中文语言是一种“竹子”式的结构，行文按顺序表达即可，而英文是一种“树状”结构，讲究主干和从句之分，所以一个句子，无论是简单句还是复合句，都只有一个谓语动词，其他的动作要做一定的变形。比如变成从句中的动词，非谓语，介词结构等。多数学生因不了解两种语言形式的差别经常会写出错误的句子。

　　例1：The children lack self-control cannot focus on study

　　分析：错误 一句话两个动词，lack；focus，应找到主干，孩子不能集中注意力学习。缺乏自制力是定语部分。

　　改为：The children who lack self-control cannot focus on study

　　Or: The children lacking self-control cannot focus on study

　　例2：The government invests in movie industry can enhance intercultural communication.

　　分析：一个句子两个动词

　　改为：The government invests in movie industry and this can enhance intercultural communication. (为后面的动词加主语)

　　Or:   The government invests in movie industry, which can enhance intercultural communication. (改为非限制性定语从句，对前一句进行补充)

　　例3：There are many young people do not know how to manage money effectively

　　分析：There be句型典型的2个动词的错误

　　改为：There are many young people who do not know how to manage money effectively

　　Or: Many young people do not know how to manage money effectively

　　2, 及物动词和系动词无被动语态

　　所谓不及物动词，就是指后面不加宾语可以构成完整句子的动词。如果要加宾语，必须加介词。因此不及物动词没有被动语态。比如：increase，happen，rise 等

　　例1， The number of female professors was increased sharply from 100 in 1990 to 1000 in 2000

　　分析：学生小作文中常犯的错误之一。Increase/rise 为不及物动词。无被动

　　例2， 改为：The number of female professors increased sharply from 100 in 1990 to 1000 in 2000

　　例3：I disagree many points made by the supporters of globalization

　　分析：错误。Disagree 为不及物动词，加宾语时必须加介词

　　改为：I disagree with many points made by the supporters of globalization

　　系动词seem，remain, prove, appear, look, smell 等动词一般不用被动语态

　　例4：Many children are seemed to be better at remembering bad habits instead of good habits.

　　分析：seem 为不及物动词

　　改为：Many children seemed to be better at remembering bad habits instead of good habits.
