　　这是2014年考研英语一的漫画作文真题，漫画名叫“相携”。画面分为左右两幅，左幅画面中，一位年轻的母亲牵着年幼的女儿，配文为“三十年前”;右幅画面中，长大成人的女儿搀扶着年迈的母亲，配文为“现在”。

　　The drawings depict love between a mother and a daughter:in the left one, a young, amiable mother was holding one hand of her little daughter, while in the right one, when the mother becomes aged thirty years later, her daughter, who has grown up, is supporting her with their arms crossed/folded. The caption underneath is a word, “company”.

　　The implication carried by the pictures is that we need to show our concern and love to our parents. They have devoted considerable time and efforts to raising us up, and without their love and care, we would not have grown up into happy, healthy individuals. In return, it is a moral obligation for us to care for our parents when they become aged. What they need most is the love and company from their adult children: they know clearly that to support families, we have to be busy with our career in the current workplace full of fierce competitions, so actually, our short stay in their home and even a simple call from us can make our parents pleased and satisfied.

　　In my opinion, we have the duty to return our parents’ love by accompanying and caring for them.
