　　-描述改变- 小作文地图题一般都是给两幅地图，考察描述其变化。

　　常用词Change = Modification 改变（可数），可搭配：

　　经历改变 undergo modification

　　重要改变 major modification

　　许多改变 extensive modifications

　　巨大改变 substantial/ considerable/ significant modification

　　轻微改变 minor/ slight modification例：

　　Eg.1. 从预测的地图上可以看到许多改变Extensive modifications can be observed from the map predicting the future development.

　　Eg.2. 总体来看，这个公园经历了很大改变Overall, this park underwent considerable modifications.

　　***在概述段中，我们需要概括出地图中的主要变化有哪些，是什么。例如：It is noticeable that three main modifications were made to the hospital’s vehicle access. These involved the building of a new bus station, new roundabouts and new parking facilities.

　　-描述拆除&新建-

　　地图中最常见的一个改变是“图中的什么建筑不在了，在原地址上又新建了什么”，前面的变化大部分同学都会，后面的就表达比较单一。

　　表示拆除的词常用：remove, take down 以及demolish。这三个词在地图写作中一般用被动语态比较多，所以被动结构 be removed/ taken down/ demolished. 老的电影院被拆了并且在那新建了一个大型购物中心The old cinema was removed, and a new shopping mall was built/constructed there.

　　-描述替代/被替代-

　　1.Replaced byThe old cinema was removed and replaced by a new shopping mall.

　　2.InsteadThe old cinema was removed. Instead, a new shopping mall was established there.

　　3. Make way forThe old cinema was removed to make way for a new shopping mall.

　　4. Be converted/ turned intoThe old cinema was converted/ turned into a new shopping mall

　　-提分句型-

　　1. 基础句型---主谓宾结构The park in southeastern part of the town will become smaller.The park is located in the southeastern part of the town, and it will become smaller.

　　2. There be 句型There was a park in southeastern part of the town and it will be reduced in size.

　　3. 定语从句The park, which is located in the southeastern part of the town will be shrink in size.

　　4. 倒装In the southeastern part of the town is a park, which will be reduced in size.

　　5.  被动Obvious reduction can be seen in the park located in the southeastern part of the town.

　　6.  加入各种状语目的状语：In order to make way for a new housing area, the park will be reduced in size.让步状语Although the park still remains where it is, it will be reduced in size.
