　　The four pie charts depict the overall expenditures of students in the four distinct categories of  clothes, rent, food and entertainment in a country during the period from 1985 to 2015.

　　As for clothes, spending was approximately a quarter of the whole amount in 1985, decreased a  tad over the next ten years, rose in 2005 and finally ended off at nearly one tenth of the total student  spending in 2015. With regards to rent, 30% of pupil expenditures consisted of these payments in  the first two periods, whereby it rose to 42% in 2005 and peaked at 50% of the entire costs in  2015.

　　With respect to food, it remained relatively constant at around one third of student spending in the  first three sets of data, yet it slightly declined to around a quarter of the entire expenditures in  2015. In terms of entertainment, during the first two periods it amounted to around a quarter of  total spending and reduced to about one fifth in the last two periods.

　　All in all, spending for clothes, food and rent steadily declined over the three-decade period while  the cost for rent rose significantly during the duration of the statistics.
