　　The university library should not be opened to the public. First of all, sharing the library space with the public wouldtake away many privileges the enrolled students have already paid for. Such privileges might be pretty important to the students, especially during exam seasons. Many students could not focus well in their own dorms, thus seeking for quite places such as the library. However, if the library is opened to the public and seats were taken away, these students will have no where to go.

　　Secondly, sharing the library resources with the general public puts the resources under risks. For example, many visitors and children would put less attention on preserving the facilities, including books and computers. If accidentally, these books are torn apart ,this causes a lot of money to the school.
