　　Dear Sir or Madam,

　　l am writing to express my opinion about the proposed replacement of our library.

　　l visited the library this morning and was dismayed when I read the announcement posted onthe outside wall.Honestly, I do not think it is a good idea to replace it with a supermarket.

　　There would be at least two drawbacks if you built a new supermarket in this area.Firstly, thetraffic situation can be worsened since this issue has existed in this district for years.Secondly，local business may fail to compete with a large supermarket; which will lead to unemployment.

　　Most importantly,the library is absolutely crucial for our citizens.Although it only has a history of 30 years,this stylish building has become one of residents' favorite landmarks in our city.It carries many people's childhood memories and is playing an important role in their adulthood by organizing family reading activities regularly.The replacement will hurt citizens’feelings and cause dissatisfaction.
