　　Dear Mrs.Smith，

　　I am your tenant at No.3113 South Valley Street and I am writing to inform you about the serious damage to your house caused by the thunderstorm yesterday.

　　Last night, the heavy rains and strong wind broke several windows in the bedroom on second floor, leaving glasses scattered everywhere. Besides, the broken tree branches not only damaged the fences in the backyard but also wrecked the main entrance door which is twisted and I cannot go out now.

　　Due to the awkward situation, I need immediate repair and maintenance. It is cold and unsafe to sleep in a room without windows. Moreover, I will miss an important meeting if the door cannot be fixed before tomorrow morning.
