　　Today, an increasing amount of attention has been paid to juvenile delinquency. Some people suggest that if a young person commits a felony, they should be sentenced as an adult

　　From the perspective of young criminals, the felony they commit often has two characteristics. First the subjectivism of their crime is very strong. When committing violent crimes, such as robbery and assault, criminals often have great subjective malice. Their purpose is to hurt or rob other people in a violent way. Consequently, they often cause very serious personal injury or damage o property. On the other hand, unlike less serious crimes, the rehabilitation of violent crime criminals is often not seen. Their lives and values have been distorted, and no matter what easures are taken, they are unlikely to change.

　　For the community and the victims, if a felon receives a lighter sentence, this in tum does great harm to the udicial system, and justice itself. What the criminals have done have caused enormous harm to both the community and their victims. If they are given special consideration in the trial and receive a lighter sentence it will send a very dangerous message to the younger generation. The message is that if a young person gets convicted of a crime, they will be treated very leniently. In addition, the victims and their families will feel that justice has not been served as it should have been. If a young person who has raped or murdered is acquitted or given a lighter sentence, it would be a great injustice for the victim and the society at large

　　In summary, I agree that a young person who has committed serious crimes should be treated as an adult.

　　如今，青少年的犯罪问题受到人们越来越多的关注。有些人建议，如果年轻人犯下重罪，则他们应当受到和成年人一样的惩罚。

　　从少年犯的角度来看，他们犯下的重罪往往具有以下两个特点。首先，他们实施犯罪的主观性极强。实施暴力犯罪时，如抢劫和暴力袭击，罪犯往往都有极大的主观恶性。他们的目的就是以暴力的方式伤害对方或者抢劫财物。因此，他们经常造成非常严重的人身伤害或财物损失。另一方面，和轻微犯罪不同，暴力犯罪的改造效果往往不太理想。他们的人生观、价值观已经扭曲，无论采取什么措施，都不太容易改变。

　　从社会和受害人的角度来看，重罪轻判是对司法制度和公正的极大损害罪犯所做的事情已经给社会和受害人带来了巨大的伤害，如果在审判过程中他们受到特殊照而且判决较轻，那么这会向年轻一代发出一个极其危险的信号，会让他们认为如果自己犯下罪行是可以被轻判的。另外，受害人和家属会感到正义没有得到伸张。如果一个实施了强奸或杀人的年轻罪犯得以脱罪或者从轻量刑，这对于受害方和整个社会来说都是极大的不公平。

　　总而言之，我认为犯下重罪的年轻人应该受到和成年人一样的惩罚。
