雅思小作文速成法|思路分析A类——地图类

　　A类 图表类——地图类  地图题没有表格题复杂，但很多考生都感到比较陌生。且看下面分解。地图题一般给出的信息是一个城镇或村庄在一段时间内的发展变化。地图题关键是抓住两点:

　　其一，以时间先后顺序和空间东西南北为线索进行客观描述。(注意:在空间表示上，英国人说东西南北，而不说左右。)

　　如:

　　①A位于B的某个方向

　　A lies./is located/ is situated in/on/to/ the east/west/ south/ north of B;(注意:in表示A在B内部;on表示A与B接壤;to表示A位于B的某个方位但不接触，如: Japan lies to the east of China.日本从东方与中国隔海相望。)

　　②A位于B的角落 A is at/ in the north- western corner of B;(at表示A位于B的外部，而in表示A位于B的内部。)

　　③在河流或道路的东边/西边等 On the east/ eastern side of the road On both sides o the river;

　　④表示靠近、邻近 A is near/ next to/ just off/ adjacent to the river

　　其二，一般来说主要用被动语态而不用主动语态。

　　如: A hospital was established in town A in 2012

　　This map shows the development of Chorleywood, a small London village, from 1868 to 1994.

　　The first period was from 1868 to 1883. At this time, Chorleywood only had one small area and two crossing main roads. The next period was from 1883 to 1922. During this time, there emerged another habitation to the south of the original small area, which was almost twice bigger than the former one.In 1909, a railway  parallel with the eastbound main road, came into being. It went through the new habitation and formed an intersection with another as well. Next, from 1922 to 1970, along the west part of the newly-built railway, two large areas took shape. Finally, 1970 saw another great chang in Chorleywood. A southbound motorway was built linking the railway and the eastbound main road. Since then, another five living areas were founded scattering along the motorway

　　Therefore, the map illustrates that thanks to the construction of the railway and the motorway, the land of Chorleywood expanded significantly from 1868 to 1994.
