　　You had just missed a friend' s party, write a letter to apology. In your letter, you should:

　　Dear Tina,

　　How's going? I'm sorry that I didn't show up at your house-warming party yesterday. I'm writing to explain the reason and I hope you can forgive me.

　　I failed to attend the party because I had to performt urgent surgery for a patient who broke his leg yesterday afternoon, when I was going to be off duty. As the only doctor on call, I had to prepare for the operation immediately and I didn't have time to tell you on the phone.The surgery lasted for 4 hours till late night so I had to miss your party.

　　I guess you must have enjoyed a good time with your family and our friends. Did you show your lovely study room to everyone? I bet everyone loves it! What about food? Your home-made apple pie can be the most popular dish! I really hope I was there.

　　Again, I'm sorry for missing your party. I'd like to visit your new home soon.
