　　图书馆场景是雅思听力中颇为经典的场景之一。在图书馆相关场景的听力材料中，同学们需要掌握与图书馆职能、借阅流程、常见馆藏书本相关的词汇。如果该场景以对话形式出现，一般发生在图书馆的前台 (reception/circulation desk)，由学生与图书馆管理员(librarian)展开对话。

　　Periodicals

　　意为“期刊”，每一期被称为“issue”，如current issue表示“现刊，现期杂志”，back issue表示“过期刊物”。同一期的每个复印本被称为“copy”，如a copy of journal 表示“一份刊物”。
